At Corbett Funeral & Cremation Service, established in 2005 by Darin M. Corbett and his family, we are a trusted and independently-owned funeral business located in the heart of Nichols Hills in NW Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Our goal is to provide exceptional funeral and cremation services that truly honor the memory of your loved ones. We strive to offer a blend of professionalism and compassion, while maintaining affordable prices for our families.

Darin M. Corbett, our experienced owner, is a proud native of Oklahoma and has had the privilege of serving families in various metropolitan areas across the United States. He is married to Ronda and they have two children, Katie and Andrew. Darin holds degrees in Chemistry, Marketing/Finance, and Funeral Service from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma. With a background rooted in education and a passion for helping families in their time of need, you can trust that your loved one is in good hands with Corbett Funeral & Cremation Service.

Darin's extensive career background spans multiple industries, providing him with a unique perspective on how to best serve families in the funeral home setting.

He brings a wealth of experience in the funeral service industry, having worked in both funeral homes and cemeteries. With licenses as a Funeral Director, Embalmer, Grief Recovery Specialist, and Insurance Agent, Darin is well-equipped to provide comprehensive funeral services to families.

Previously, Darin was the Managing Director of Oklahoma's largest independently-owned funeral home before its sale in 1998. He stayed on with the company until the completion of his contract in 2005. Despite seven years of trying to bring change to the corporate funeral industry from within, Darin was unable to make a significant impact. In January 2005, he resigned from his position and opened Corbett Funeral & Cremation Service in May of the same year. This new funeral home, located in the Nichols Hills area of Oklahoma City, offers a refreshingly different and full-service funeral experience for families.

Throughout his career, Darin has been called upon to provide funeral services to over a thousand families, including dignitaries such as former Speaker of the House, Carl Albert.

As a dedicated member of the community, Darin was an Oklahoma County Special Deputy and an active participant in organizations like Kiwanis, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, SID Alliance, RTS, and more. He has also been an important voice in educating and protecting senior citizens from fraud in the funeral home industry as a member of the TRIAD and S.A.L.T task forces.

In addition to his civic involvement, Darin has been a regular guest on radio talk shows, a sought-after public speaker, and a consultant for organizations such as school districts, Oklahoma Nursing Home Advocates Association, Oklahoma DHS Aging Services, Rose State College, University of Central Oklahoma, Hospice and Palliative Care groups, the American Legion, and OU Medical Center. His expertise and commitment to serving families in their time of need has made him a valuable resource in the funeral industry.
