Ward Elmer Posey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ward Elmer Posey, who left us on October 28, 2024, following complications from heart surgery. Ward’s kindness, strength, and sense of humor touched all who knew him, leaving a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories.

Ward is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Posey, who was his steadfast companion and closest friend. He was the beloved father of sons Brian, Brent, and Brandon Posey, as well as a loving stepfather to Scott Nichols, Patricia Farr (née Nichols), and Pamela Nichols. His family extended further with his brothers, John and James Posey, who held a special place in his life, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom were a constant source of pride and joy.

In his life, Ward exemplified dedication to his family and friends, always ready with a helping hand or a warm smile. His legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
