Tresa "Gail" Miller

Tresa “Gail” (Shannon) Miller was born on March 26, 1951, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed away on September 26, 2025, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tresa’s parents were Gaylon Lemuel Shannon and Anna Laurene (Casey) Shannon. She graduated from Okemah High School in 1969. Graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science and became a registered nurse on May 26, 1973. Tresa “Gail” (Shannon) Miller married Leslie Ray Miller on April 3, 1971, at First Christian Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She joined the Air Force in 1991 and earned the rank of Captain, Senior Nurse, during Desert Storm and received an honorable discharge on May 3, 1993. Tresa “Gail” (Shannon) Miller’s husband Leslie Ray Miller, predeceased her in 2021. She is survived by son Johnathon Michael Miller, son Steven Bryan Miller, son Daniel Martin Miller deceased 2021, daughter Julie Ray Miller, grandchildren Madison Martian (Miller) MçAroy, Luke Bryan Miller, Kaylee Marie Miller, Isabelle Julianna Miller, Anna Jean Miller, Elaina Rose Miller, Charlotte Rae Anthony, sister Sandy Lynn (Shannon) Duren, brother Hank Lee Shannon, brother Shawn Casey Shannon sister Stella Adina (Shannon) Aaron. Corbett Funeral & Cremation 807 W. Wilshire Blvd, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116. The funeral is on October 11, 2025. It will be held in the Chapel at First Presbyterian Church at 1001 N.W. 25th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73106 at 10:00 am. Reception will follow the service. Later, the family will intern Tresa Gail Miller’s remains at Rose Hill Burial Park at 6001 N.W. Grand Blvd. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73118.
