Tonya Truelock Chesser

Tonya DeAnne Truelock Chesser, of Oklahoma passed away in the early hours of September 6th, 2022 at the age of 53. Tonya passed away while she slept at her home in Piedmont Oklahoma.

Tonya was born on July 14th, 1969 in Borger, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Wanda Truelock and Danny Truelock. Tonya grew up in the panhandle of Texas before moving to El Reno, Oklahoma in high chool. In 1987 Tonya had her son Kendon Varner. Tonya went on to obtain her cosmetology license and styled hair for over 30 years. In 1993 Tonya married her husband John Derek Chesser in Yukon, Oklahoma. Tonya spent her years loving life at the lake and spending time with Derek, Kendon and her granddaughter Madison. Tonya spent her years as a hairstylist loving each and every one of her clients and taking some in as family. Tonya always found ways to help others and tried to make sure she hosted the best of events. 

She was preceeded  in death by her mother Wanda Truelock, her father Danny Truelock, and her husband John (Derek) Chesser.

Tonya is survived by her son Kendon Varner and granddaughter Madison Varner; Grandmother Ramona Fagan; brother Rusty Truelock; sister Tasha Petersen and her husband Chad; uncle Danny Cole and his wife Virginia; aunt Keva Weightman; nephews Robert, Bradly and Grady; nieces Jean-Marie, Hadley and Willow.
