Robert Carrillo, beloved family man and friend, passed away on August 9, 2026 at the age of 90. He was born April 27, 1936, and lived a life filled with love, kindness, laughter and dedication to his family.

Robert was a wonderful role model whose strength of character and generous spirit touched everyone who knew him. He was known for his kind heart, quick sense of humor, and lighthearted nature. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a laugh, or simply being there when someone needed him. Robert was always willing to put others before himself.

In his younger years, Robert enjoyed adventure and the outdoors. He loved spearfishing and scuba diving, embracing every opportunity to explore beneath the water’s surface. He also found great joy spending time on the lake, creating cherished memories boating with Alice, Tina and Gina. He was a great father who taught honesty, loyalty, hard work and also time for fun!

Robert was a great big brother to Andy and Margaret always leading by a great example to follow. He served his county in the National Guard.

Robert’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, generosity and love. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in the many wonderful memories they shared and in the example he set through a life well lived.

He had a long career at GM where he retired and was quite the handy man when anything needed to be fixed or working on cars at Bruno’s Garage.

Robert Carrillo will forever be remembered with love, gratitude and admiration.

Robert was preceded by Andrew and Lucy Carrillo, Margaret Walton, Joe Carrillo, Bruno Carrillo, Nellie Carrillo.

He is survived by Alice Carrillo and daughter’s Tina Manek, Gina Kazerooni, their families Steve Manek and sons Ethan Manek, and Tristan Manek, Vahid Kazerooni and son Nicky Kazerooni, Brother Andy Carrillo and son Paul, Jack Walton, Edith Carrillo and 1st cousins Elaine Carrillo, David Carrillo, Jennifer Carillo, Debbie Ford, Deliah Manek, Rachel Garcia, Tony Garcia, George Ruechert, Francine Ruechert, and Leonard Ruechert.
