Rebecca Ann Lugo, born Rebecca Ann Davis, passed away on June 29, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on August 9, 1956, in Darlington, South Carolina, and carried with her throughout life the warmth and grace of her Southern roots.
Rebecca was a lady of many talents. She had a beautiful singing voice and was an amazing artist and craftsman, gifts that reflected both her creativity and the care she brought to all she did. She was loving and kindhearted, always willing to give to those in need. Wherever she went, her Southern charm shone through, and she had a way of treating all she met as friends. She also had a tremendous love for animals, often taking in the responsibility of caring for those that were injured or lost, showing the same compassion to them that she so freely gave to people.
Her family was at the heart of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Lugo, and her son, Travis Lugo, with whom she shared a close and cherished family bond, as well as by her sister, Dale McKenzie. Those who knew Rebecca will remember not only her many talents, but also her generous spirit, her gentle heart, and the warmth she brought into the lives of others.
Rebecca Ann Lugo leaves behind a memory that will be treasured by her family and friends. Her kindness, creativity, and loving nature will continue to be felt in the lives she touched.
