Becky Ivins, a beloved Realtor and cherished member of the Oklahoma City community, passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 74. With a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s in public administration, Becky skillfully managed all her endeavors. She always viewed herself as a “social worker with a real estate license” and saw her work as a ministry, prioritizing the needs of her clients and team above her own interests. Becky's commitment to service extended to her charitable work; she volunteered with numerous organizations and felt a special calling to support individuals with disabilities, recognizing their inherent value and making a lasting impact on many lives.

With over 45 years of experience as a Real Estate Broker, Becky was recognized as a local authority, providing invaluable advice on her radio show for more than 20 years. She served as a subject matter expert for News Channel 4, lending her expertise to real estate-focused segments. She completed thousands of real estate transactions, earning the respect and admiration of clients and colleagues alike.

Becky is survived by her husband Jim Ivins, their children CW04 Eric Ivins and his wife Trish, Sandra Ivins surviving spouse of Becky’s son Rob Ivins, Emily Hathaway and her husband Kent, LTC William Ivins and his wife Jaci, her siblings Peggy Penn, Debby Zerby, Walter Deen, Loretta Coover, Stacy Deen and Anne Bremer. She is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Deen, her brother-in-law Larry Zerby, her son Rob Ivins, and her best friend Linda Charney.

A proud grandmother, Becky treasured her time with her grandchildren: Valerie Ivins and her wife Jasmine, Griffen Ivins, Brittany Ivins and her husband Brandon Wright, Anya Hathaway, Liam Hathaway, Alec Hathaway, Hannah Hathaway, Mary Ivins, Adam Ivins, Chris Atkins, Kelsey Burdrick, Callie Burdrick, and Kayla Burdrick. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Brody and Lula Atkins.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Becky was an avid traveler, relishing adventures with her husband and friends from church. One of her favorite memories was her trip to the Holy Lands where she was baptized in the Jordan River. Her passion for community service was evident through her active involvement in numerous non-profit organizations, where she generously shared her time and resources.

Family was at the heart of Becky's life. She treasured moments spent playing board games, cooking delicious meals using herbs from her own garden, and floating in the pool, where she delighted in watching her grandkids showcase their impressive jumps and dives.

Becky's warm spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of many, and she will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and the community she served so faithfully. A celebration of her life will be held on November 16th at 10:00am at Oklahoma City First Church of the Nazarene at 4400 NW Expressway, OKC, OK 73116. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to further research for pancreatic cancer through PanCan at https://pancan.org in Becky’s honor.
