On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, Pauline Ruth Davis our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend departed from this earth, at the age of 86, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Pauline was born January 24, 1934 in Octavia, Oklahoma to Ballard Estel and Evadne (Wilson) Maggard. Pauline worked several different careers during her lifetime, which included homemaker, teacher, telephone operator, school bus driver, key punch operator, semi-truck driver, health food supply representative, as well as raising chickens and goats. She encouraged education in all fields. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics Education from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1976. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her family, and she loved being outdoors, fishing, camping and gardening. She enjoyed reading, sewing, ceramics and was an excellent artist and she painted numerous paintings. She always had an infectious smile on her face and had a kind compassionate spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and two sisters as well as her sons Timothy Paul Kelley and Mark Eugene Kelley and her daughter Ruth Anne Kelley. Pauline is survived by her brother Luke (Rosemarie) Maggard, son Michael Wayne (Rhonda) Kelley and daughter Leah Sue (Gary) Kahler and grandchildren Susy and Chad; Devon, Dustin, Damon and Danielle; Shane, Shanon, Aaron and Justin; Andrew and Katie; Rachel, Sarah and Adam. Also, 40 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23rd from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 100 North Indian Meridian, Choctaw, Oklahoma. A short graveside service will be held on Friday, July 24th at 1 p.m. at the Octavia Cemetery pavilion, Octavia, Oklahoma, conducted by Samuel Ingle. Burial will follow immediately.
