Pamela Jean White

August 21, 1956 — January 15, 2015

On January 15, 2015, our dear mother, Pamela Jean White (Cameo), was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 58. She was surrounded by family up to and during the last moments of her life at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Pamela was born on the twenty first of August, 1956 on a hot summer day in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Oby and Deloris Ward. She was the first of three daughters. Pamela and her sisters, Patty and Karla, spent their early years in Oklahoma, Colorado and Texas. They still often made it back to Ardmore to spend time with family and friends, to camp and swim with their cousins at Lake Murray. This had come to be one of Pamela's favorite past times. After graduating from Alameda High in Lakewood, Colorado, Pamela went on to be married and had her first daughter Aubrie in 1976. A few years later she married again to Alan White on August 17th 1978, and gave birth to two more daughters; Elizabeth in 1982 and Rebecca in 1983. Shortly after her third child, she and her family moved to New Hampshire and enjoyed the White mountains for a few years before moving back to her hometown in Ardmore. The Lake Murray tradition picked back up again and summers were spent with solid weeks by the lake and with trips to Frontier City and Six Flags with the family. Eventually, her daughters grew up and she was brought back to her own interests. She had always loved birds and she collected them in figurines, bought books on which ones were local and always had a watchful eye out the window to catch one on her bird feeders. She started collecting antiques and going on retreats with her church. Grandchildren were born, so birthdays and holidays were filled with the joy of children once more for her. Within the past few years Pamela had been attending Rosh Pinah Messianic Jewish Congregation. She spent most of her time learning the Hebrew language, new traditions and spending evenings with her church family. She was a strong believer in Jesus' salvation and her light would shine when she was in the house of the Lord. She found her peace among her church family and in singing praises to God. Pamela was a women who wore many hats throughout her life. She was an interior decorator, cafeteria worker, Avon representative, paralegal, but most importantly she was our mother. She was and is and still will be. We know she's dancing in heaven and soaring with her new wings among the bluebirds and sparrows where she has always wanted to be. Pamela is preceded in death by her father, Oby Ward and her sister, Patty Ward - Abeyta. She is survived by her mother, Deloris Ward; her sister, Karla Hayward; her three daughters, Aubrie Eaves and her husband Jeffrey of Yukon, Elizabeth Dunham and her husband Casey of Edmond, Rebecca Roth and her husband Jimmy of Kalispell, Montana; as well as her three grandchildren, Hailie Eaves, Katelyn Dunham and Abigail Dunham. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2015 at 1:00 pm. The service will be held at Faith Bible Church at 600 N. Coltrane, Edmond, OK.
