Laura R. Scott was born September 9, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Pauline and Raymond Dorman. She passed away April 5, 2026.

She built a life full of love and dedication. It was at Big Beef restaurant where she met the love of her life, Rick Scott, whom she married and cherished for 25 years. During that time, she devoted herself to her family as a faithful wife and stay-at-home mother. She found joy in the simple beauty of the outdoors, watching butterflies, admiring tigers and unicorns, and spending time with the friends she held dear. Known for being tough and blunt, she was equally known for her deep, caring heart.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela and her husband Jeff Allen of Norman, Oklahoma; April and her husband Duane Baker of Missouri; and Brandy Plumley of Norman, Oklahoma; her son, Bobby Labrie of Walters, Oklahoma; and three grandchildren, Emili Scott of Edmond, Oklahoma; Michael Scott of Lexington, Oklahoma; and Hunter Baker of Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Raymond Dorman, and her infant son, Ronnie.

Laura will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
