James Emberson of Midwest City, Oklahoma, beloved son, father, papi, uncle, cousin, and friend. James passed away at Integris Hospital in Moore, Oklahoma, September 6, 2021 from covid-19. James was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 4, 1971. He is the son of Dennis Emberson and Margie Kelley (Valadez). He grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma. James worked most of his life as a Fabricator in the Oil and Gas industry. James enjoyed fishing with his son Dakota and cousins Gary and Rodney. He took extreme pride in his role as “papi” to his grandchildren whom he cherished and adored. Later in life he spent his time with family and friends enjoying them the most. His fun sense of humor and his smile will be what people remember the most about him. James will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Emberson, and grandmother Thelma Emberson and grandfather John Emberson. James is survived by his mother Margie Kelley and stepfather Paul Kelley. Children Cherokee and Dakota Emberson. Fiancé Shelly Hallmark. Step children Drew, Bryce, and Cortez Avelar. Grandchildren Junior Avelar and Kodah Emberson. Sister Patty Bennett.
