Earl Robert Donaldson

Earl Robert Donaldson, 78, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025.

Born on April 30, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was the son of Freeda and Earl Donaldson.

He is survived by his sister, Wilma Gooding, niece, Rachael Gooding Hargis and Matt Hargis, great nieces Ellie Gooding and Wylie Hargis, and great nephews Mason and Copeland Hargis. Earl was like a loving grandfather to them all.

A graduate of Oklahoma City University Law School, he practiced for many years, with his last position as head legal counsel for The Hartford Insurance in the State of Oklahoma.

Earl was a very proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He was a passionate golfer, serving as a member of the college golf team at OCU, and continued his love for the game for many decades to follow. Also an avid collector of firearms and an excellent marksman.

Earl was hard working with a sharp sense of humor, but will always be remembered for his ever-present generosity and kind heart.
