E. "Wade" Readnour

E. “Wade” Readnour, 76 of Yukon, Formerly of Enid, Oklahoma Passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at The Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City after a battle with COPD and Cancer. Wade Was born May 24, 1942 in Wellington, Texas to Travis J. and Irene Jackson Readnour. Wade was in Law Enforcement and Federal Security since 1973, before his retirement in 2015. Wade enlisted in The U.S. Marine Corps and became medically discharged in 1968. Wade was raised in Gage, Oklahoma and graduated from Gage High School in 1960. Wade Attended Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma Christian University. He loved watching his OSU Cowboys play football. Wade is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Anita Melvin Wood Readnour, Stepsons, Troy Wood (Shannon) Enid, and Chris Wood (Kathleen)Fort Myers, Florida , his Grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally Chloe, Clayton, Baylee and Lucas and beloved pet, Mattie. Three Sisters Linda Nine(Art) from Gage, Barbara Jimenez, from Enid, and Darla Peterson(Bob) from Edmond, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many Friends and his South Yukon Church of Christ Family. A Memorial Service is Scheduled on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at South Yukon Church of Christ at 2:00PM in the afternoon. 11700 NW 10th Street, Yukon Oklahoma.
