Dale E. McDonald, 74, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away quietly at home on March 1, 2026, with his beloved wife at his side.
Born on June 3, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Dale was the son of Dewey and Martha McDonald of Spencer, Oklahoma. He graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1970 and remained a proud Oklahoman throughout his life.
Dale took great pride in his work as a gifted carpenter. His craftsmanship and strong work ethic earned him the respect of many colleagues and friends. He was a longtime member and former officer of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 329, where he built not only structures, but lasting friendships.
Above all, Dale loved his family. He cherished time spent with his wife, family and friends, and found joy in music, watching sports on television, and fishing. Whether sharing a laugh, telling a story, or casting a line, he made ordinary moments meaningful.
Dale is survived by his wife, Diane McDonald of the home; his daughter, Dawn Michelle and husband Steve Arnold; his sisters, Dorma McDonald and DeeAnn McDonald. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Martha McDonald.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, skilled hands, and deep love for those closest to him. His memory will be treasured always.
