Charles Raymond Dozier - 67, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Passed peacefully January 23, 2023.
He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 13, 1955, to the late Russel William Dozier, Jr. and is survived by his mother Margaret “Sugar” Cunningham Dozier, brother Russel W. Dozier III, and nephews Sean W Dozier and Mr. & Mrs. Thomas F Dozier.
Ray earned his degree in Journalism and was a passionate OU football fan. So passionate he wrote two books, “The Definitive Encyclopedia of OU Football” and “Legends of OU Football”.
Ray will be greatly missed by many friends and family.
A Graveside service will be held Saturday January 28, 2023, at 2:00 pm, Fairlawn Cemetery in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation in Rays honor.
