William Dee Renshaw

Bill passed away at his home in Oklahoma City on April 19th, 2023. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 10th, 1951. 

After Bill graduated from Northwest Classen in Oklahoma City, he attended Oklahoma State University where he was a Sig Ep. He then received a Masters in Education from University of Central Oklahoma. He spent most of his career in Edmond Public Schools as a special education teacher and coach. Outside of work, he enjoyed sports, whether that be coaching or playing. He’ll be remembered by his friends and family for his impeccable golf etiquette, his quick wit, his ability to build or repair whatever you could throw his way and his undying love for the OSU Cowboys. Go Pokes! Even after a diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis and many other health challenges, Bill continued to set and achieve goals. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Dee and Mary Ellen (Gresham) Renshaw. He’s survived by his sons Andrew, Jackson (Janie) and Trent, his brother Dee (Kim), his sister Laurie (Shelly), numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Sir Thomas Jackson Omalley Kitty Kitty.
