Nicole Denece Workman

October 4, 1970 — January 8, 2020

Nicole Denece Kareem Workman 49 years young and passed peacefully on January 8, 2020. Nicole had the type of personality that would light up the room and everyone would gravitate towards her. She made everyone feel important and loved. She was very well read, a history buff, and loved all things in science. She raised two strong daughters; one enjoying her first year in college at UNT and the other a recent grad school graduate at UCLA. She was a mother to her siblings, watching and guiding her sisters and brothers. She was confidant, someone you can talk to when in need and you could always expect fair and even advice. She was humble and modest, never bragged. She was her parents first born; the cutest baby who never left her father's shoulders. She was the greatest best friend to her husband Perry with whom she shared over 25 years. Nicole is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Perry; daughters Whitney and Morgan; parents Ahmad and Deborah; brothers Jamal and Shakir; sisters Zakiyyah and Kameelah; nephews Zachary and Shakir and nieces Kishori and Zoey. Family memorial service will be held on Monday, January 13th at 4:00 pm at Corbett Funeral & Cremation, 807 West Wilshire Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Family has requested donations be made directly to the American Thyroid Association https://www.givedirect.org/donate/?cid=14225.
