John Austin Menefee Jr.

Air Force MSgt (Ret.) John Austin Menefee Jr, 86, began his walk with our Heavenly Father at 04:44 AM, March 18, 2022. John was born October 26, 1935 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to John Austin and Lucille C. Menefee Sr. He married best friend and forever bride Shirley in Kent, Oklahoma on August 30, 1997. He is survived by: his wife Shirley of the home, his children, Debra Jane Martin and her husband, David Sparks, Jimmy Dale Menefee, Michael Cain and his wife Mariah, Rodney Thomas Weedon and his wife Kari, and Christina Lee Pasini; grandchildren Air force SrA Troy Martin, Cody Miller and wife Brittany, Bethany, Arbuy, and Gray Cain, Colin, and Benjamin Weedon, Ariana Wood and husband Rusty; great-grandchildren, Grayson Pasini, Wyatt Miller, Riley and Avery Wood, Skylar and Maverick Weedon. Over the last years John had two very special doctors, Dr. Jack Collier and Dr. Douglas Beall. But never forgotten an exceptionable nurse, friend and now a forever family member Dee Fraticelli. Just proves, you can't choose your parents but you can choose your family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Armed Forces Day, May 21, 2002 at 1 pm in the chapel at Corbett Funeral & Cremation. Military Funeral Honors provided by the United States Air Force. The family requests that attendees wear something blue in honor of John's favorite color.
