Donna Marie Mell

Donna Marie Mell left this world peacefully Oct. 22, 2020, at the age of 68. Donna was born July 25, 1952, in Seminole, OK to James "Jim" Leonard and Floy Jean Leonard. She attended Chandler Public Schools. She moved to Oklahoma City, where she met, fell in love, and married George Larry Mell, and they lived there the remainder of their lives. Donna devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mother, raising her two sons. She loved to cook, enjoyed reading fantasy novels, and dreamed of traveling the world. Donna was preceded in death by her husband; her mother and father; and her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Mell. Donna is survived by her son, Aaron and his wife Michelle; her son, Timothy; her sister, Patricia "Pat" Crouch and husband James; her brother, James Michael "Mike" Leonard and his wife Rebecca; her brother, Charles "Chuck" Leonard and his wife Lise; her sister, Mary Leonard; her brother, Darrell Leonard and his husband Edward; along with the many nieces, nephews and friends, too numerous to name. No services are immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service has been scheduled. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the City Rescue Mission or Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
