Dixie Lavon Trabue

Dixie Lavon Trabue, 89, of Newalla, Oklahoma, passed away January 11, 2021 in her home, surrounded by her adoring family. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Floyd and Doris Purviance of Prescott, AZ, by her husband of 64 years, Bill Trabue, Sr. She is survived by her brother, Gary Purviance of Prescott, Arizona and her children, Denise Rodgers of Bastrop, TX, Billy Trabue, Jr. and his wife Anita of Muskogee, OK, Tina Turner of Newalla, OK. She is survived by four grandchildren, Dior Goodwin of Austin, TX, Tara Trabue of Ft. Worth, TX, James Turner and his wife Alyssa of Pryor, OK, and Jessica Turner of Bryant, AR. She was blessed to have three great grandchildren, Kamden, Addilyn, and Peyton Turner of Pryor, OK. Dixie was born in Clear Lake, Iowa on January 12, 1931 where she lived with her parents, grandparents, and brother. At the age of 10, Dixie and her family moved to her beloved Prescott, Arizona, where she remained until she married in 1953. She spent 7 years in Kansas while starting to grow her family and then moved to Oklahoma in 1960 where she spent the remainder of her years. Dixie was the office manager for Seaton Plumbing Company for many years and then retired from her Office Manager position after 26 years with Urology Associates. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on April 9th, 2021 at Sunnylane Family Church, 4221 SE 41st Street, Del City OK, followed by interment at 2:00 at the Ft.
