Daniel Jim Razey

Daniel Jim Razey, 78, of Oklahoma City, passed away on 12/16/2018. He was born 11/10/1940 to Daniel Silas Razey and Ruby Emma Razey (Dupy) in Los Angeles. He graduated from Capitol Hill HS, 1958, attended OCU, graduating from CSU, with a brief period in the USAF afterwards. He married Karen Lee Murphy, 1961, and they had two children, Stephen Kirk Razey and Jill Kathleen Razey. Preceded in death by parents and his brother John Allen Razey, he is survived by his son Kirk Razey of San Diego, and daughter Jill Charboneau of OKC, grandson Nathan Beaver & wife Taylor, of Edmond, and many relatives in OK, KS, TX and CA. Dan worked in sales positions during his career, including TV/radio, fashion, and cemetery management before retiring due to vision difficulties. An avid reader, he continued to enjoy books on tape. The family extends a special thank you to the OK Library for the Blind and the OKC VA Hospital, all were very wonderful to him over the years. Dan will be remembered as a man who thoroughly enjoyed his life and lived it his own way. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at noon in Oklahoma City. at the Baptist Village Senior Living Community main building.
