Virginia Marion Norman

May 6, 1924 — December 6, 2014

Virginia Marion Norman was born May 6, 1924 in Greenfield Massachusetts. After losing her mother at an early age, she began helping to raise the family she being the eldest. Then, she began raising a family of her own. She was the backbone and guiding light for her husband (A Marine) and son in their restaurants and in life. Watching over the both of them kept her busy and challenged, but she never complained. She became known for her pies, the very best ever. Affectionately, she was called mom by the employees and the Pie Lady by the customers. The customers would order their pie before they ordered their lunch, so as not to miss out. Thanks to all our wonderful employees and customers who made our jobs fun and successful. Working with your parents everyday makes for a special bonding and special memories. However, it makes the loss that much more difficult. I wouldn’t change that for anything. The memory may be taken away but not the smile or spirit. A wink, a gentle squeeze of the hand can mean so much. A penny for your thoughts, your loving son. A special thanks to Mary, Pat, Fran, Araceli and Mika of Bellevue for their never ending care and devotion. Thanks to Doctor Brown and thanks to Pam and Natalie from Centennial Hospice. May God bless each and everyone of you. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Virginia Marion Norman please visit our Sympathy Store.
